A hammer is one of the oldest tools known dating back to around 30,000 BC where our distant relatives attached sticks to stones. In this webinar we won’t go that far back. Instead, we’ll use modern materials, techniques and tools ranging from hand tools or basic power tools or possibly a combination of both. Whatever you are comfortable with and have in your shop. We’ll cover drilling and tapping of both metal and wood. We talk about jigs to make our work safer and accurate as well as a few others to help hold our work as we drill, tap and even shape a handle. Even that makes it sound more complicated than it actually is.
The only real question remaining is a philosophical one…Do you need a hammer to make a hammer?
Once you make one, you’ll be making another and next thing you know you’ll be in the running for the person with the most tools!
