Make A Veneered Box
Date: 4 Sessions Starting April 28th

Veneering can be as simple as using a clothes iron and some Titebond Original glue. Some of the most beautiful woods with spectacular grain are milled into veneers and why not use them to open up a whole new palette. During this set of four webinars we'll make a beautiful box using simple techniques. You'll make your own iron-on veneer that is much more attractive than the drab selection at big box stores. We'll even do away with hinges by utilizing strategically placed rare-earth magnets to hold our lid to our base.

All About Routers

The router can be a very useful tool in your shop. It can also be very intimidating being loud along with its ability to spin sharp bits of steel at high rpms. In this webinar we will cover the different styles of routers as well as router bits, router tables and most importantly its safe use. Bandsaw Power Session
Date: Sunday April 25th
Time: 1pm - 3pm EST

Most woodworkers consider the bandsaw a secondary power tool to the likes of the table saw, relegated to only cutting curves. However, the bandsaw excels at not only cutting curves but also making shop sawn veneers, ripping and cross cutting as well as re-sawing. Like any other power tool, the bandsaw needs proper set-up and tuning. This webinar targets the essential components of the saw and demonstrates accurate adjustments and techniques for the tool to work safely and efficiently to become the primary power tool in your shop.
